Residual A.I is built on a foundation of traditional visual effects craftsmanship combined with a forward-looking embrace of emerging creative technologies. With more than twenty years of experience working across the visual effects and post-production industry, our work draws on the disciplines that have long defined high-end VFX production.

We specialise in simulation-driven visual effects including cloth, fluid, and dynamic systems, developed using tools such as Houdini, Maya, and Unreal Engine. These technologies allow us to create visually rich, physically believable imagery for film, television, commercial production, and experimental digital media.

Beyond production work, our background includes more than a decade in higher education as Senior Lecturers in Visual Effects and Post Production, where we helped mentor and train the next generation of artists. This experience continues to inform our approach today, combining deep technical understanding with creative problem solving and collaborative thinking.
